Well, the day has finally arrived. In an inspired moment I took down this site thinking I’d make a few tweaks over the weekend and nearly three months later here we are. Welcome to the new version of One Part Gypsy!
As an entrepreneur, the gift of dreaming big and often can be both a blessing and a curse. I imagine it would be less complicated to specialize in just one realm of expertise, but the multifaceted nature of One Part Gypsy is where the magic lies. Hence the “One Part”.
But what ties all the pieces together is that at it’s root, One Part Gypsy is my expression of living my most authentic life (more on that here) and my features and offerings are meant to encourage readers and clients to lead a life that excites and inspires them as well- both in free time and in work. It’s the “Gypsy” of OPG– the go-where-you-please, do-what-makes-you-happy, live-by-your-own-terms part. (But only to an extent, unless you seriously want to get off the grid and/ or wind up in jail for not playing by the govt’s rules! Hence the other meaning the “One Part”.) See where I’m going with this? OPG is a lot of things.
Anyway, this multifaceted nature is also the main reason I wanted to update the format of this site. I started it as only a blog, but now its grown to be so much more than that. And without one roof under which to house the different ventures that have begun or will soon begin, it made it even more difficult than it is now to communicate “what I do.”
With that said, I’d love it if you would click around to see some of the new pages that now live here- my portfolio is no longer a separate site, and my process and services are outlined here as well, in case you or someone you know might be interested.
Another area I’m particularly excited to share are my new lifestyle resource pages. I’ll be introducing these as features more and more onto the blog, so if you’ve ever had a question relating to bohemian style or interiors, alternative travel destinations or things to do in LA, design tutorials, wellness suggestions, matters of the spirit and heart, or anything else, talk to me! I don’t claim to be an expert but have worn many hats and walked many paths- and would love to offer suggestions to you if I can.
I am so appreciative of everyone who has been on this OPG journey with me so far. You’re all seeing it evolve in real time which is actually really humbling. Thank you.
