As I was poking around the world of wedding blogs I happened upon the striking work of Rime Arodaky. Had I not already begun the dress making process I’d probably be walking down the aisle in one of these stunners! I love that they are modest yet sexy, and the whole unstructured effortless glamour thing they have going on is totally working for me.
And in news from the wedding front (down here at the bottom for readers choice 😉 – I broke down and bought THE shoes …. only to find they they didn’t fit very well. Sending them back was a sad day and I’m currently still on the hunt. These runner-ups aren’t turquoise but I mean, what girl DOESN’T want a pair of glittery Loubies in her closet?? As for the dress I’m designing– I’m relieved to share that so far it is coming along without a hitch. We’ve only finished the slip part but at the next fitting will be adding the detailed top layer. Being a part of the clothing design process is so invigorating and I have a newfound respect for all the work that goes into making women’s figures look their best. PJ and I also took a trip to the jewelry store recently to start the process of our wedding band design– more hammered gold and diamonds? Yes please!! More on that to come.
