PJ and I were thrilled to get our wedding photos back a few weeks ago and it’s been such a treat to open a bottle of wine, turn on some good music and play them as a slideshow on our TV, reliving every beautiful moment. I tried to practice restraint when choosing what photos to share, I realllllyyy did …but you’d never be able to tell from these posts. Jen is just too good!
These are the images from the morning of, and then part II and part III will come later this week. I hope you enjoy!
The morning of our wedding felt so peaceful and calm. Everyone was bustling around doing things and yet nothing felt frantic. We girls were at the venue, beautifying and making sure all the details were just right, and the boys were at a different hotel, brunching and swimming from what I can gather! We were all in such good spirits, and when we came together in the afternoon, it was the most magical feeling, getting to see my almost husband and knowing it was almost time to walk down the aisle.
Walking down the aisle was one of those out-of-body experiences you can never quite be prepared for. I am extremely grateful to have had a first-look before the ceremony, and would recommend it to anyone, especially if you are an emotional person! I am completely terrified of large crowds, even when they are my closest friends and family, so having that time together was so reassuring. In the next post I’ll share more about our ceremony and what marriage means to us. xx
